Equivalent ExperienceDescription:This position is responsible for providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to sales staff to ensure the organization’s customer relationships are maintained and sales goals are achieved.Essential Functions:Lead and mentor new sales staff.Teach them to solve high priority challenging problems.Provide challenging and engaging activities to promote career growth.Travel with team members and consult with customers.Advocate for all team members to build a positive work culture and healthy team dynamics.Partner with all team members to establish personal goals and provide accountability to meet those individual goals.Identify opportunities for training and development for all team members.Collaborate with team members to develop and execute strategies to grow key accounts.Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.Resolve staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.Assist with identification and analysis of industry needs & new market segments.Participate in all events deemed necessary by the Company (e.g., sales meetings, trade shows, etc.).Collaborate with Marketing Team for accuracy of opportunity management & account/contact data.Collaborate with the People & Culture team to recruit and onboard additional sales staff as needed.Collaborate with the Design Group to identify application/sales priorities.Collaborate with Marketing to assign customer accounts.Collaborate with leadership to develop sales goals and strategies.Develop effective sales processes to achieve company and department goals and objectives.Prepare sales budget; monitor and approve expenses.Skills:Sales, Manufacturing, Capital Equipment, Technical Sales, Sales Operation, Leadership, Packaging, Energy, Automotive, Medical.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Administration, or related field.5 years of capital equipment sales management experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.About Aston Carter:
