DIRECTOR OF MARKETING – INSURANCE – BASED IN MIAMI BEACH – HR654About this opportunityOur client is the leading specialty insurance carrier serving emerging industries. The Director of Marketing is a flexible and versatile marketer who will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong and consistent global brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels which will ultimately help the growth of the company’s inbound sales channels. With the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, the Director of Marketing will be able to function in both a strategic and operational role and help evolve the company’s marketing and communication strategy to internal and external stakeholders.Duties and responsibilities:Build and maintain a strong and consistent global brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.Develop demand generation strategies and tactics to get the word out about the company to drive growth in our brokers and policy holders.Own an annual budget that includes spending requirements to meet targets, optimizing spend allocation, and constructing data-business cases for incremental investment strategies.Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, and performance analysis.Develop and implement reporting dashboards to track marketing performance across owned, paid, and earned channels.Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and social media that attracts and converts our target groups.Evaluate, select, and manage outside vendors that contribute to the demand creation initiatives including direct marketing agencies, digital marketing experts, designers, copywriters, email providers, and list brokers.Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard-copy brochures and case studies.Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.Nurture strong cross-functional relationships based on shared alignment of segment/channel goals with specific focus on Business Development, Sales, Underwriting, Technology, and Finance leadership.Grow the marketing function and individually develop team member skills to expand their current roles and their future career opportunities.What you'll need:10+ years in a senior global corporate marketing role, preferably in the Insurance or financial services industry.Advanced Degree in Marketing or related field.B2B and B2C experience.Experience managing complex, multifaceted, and multilayered projects.Strong vendor management skills.Proven experience in identifying target audiences and creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate.Experience in marketing automation, web content management, web analytics, and business intelligence (reporting and analysis tools).A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication.Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.A creative and innovative thinker who is solutions-oriented.Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment.Agile and readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements.Ability and interest in learning the insurance industry with a passion for using technology to disrupt and transform the space.How to apply:To apply, attach your résumé or include a link to your LinkedIn profile.If you don't provide one of the above, we can't progress your application.
