We believe in empowering people to experience the outdoors to the fullest.And we believe in you.About The PositionAs one of Columbia Sportswear’s Executive Assistants, you’ll be the right hand to the company’s executive leaders. You’ll be relied on to balance a broad scope of administrative functions, confidential communications, and proprietary information. Your scope of work will include secretarial ownership, management of routine office matters, and engagement on special projects.How You’ll Make a DifferenceSchedule appointments and coordinate calendars. Keep outlook and contact lists updated and synched to always ensure efficiency and access for the leaders.Coordinate onsite and offsite meetings (large and small) including attendees, facility, equipment needs, catering, etc.Maintain positive open lines of communication with all Columbia Sportswear management, staff, and other departments to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization.Provide analytical and specialized administrative support to the company and executive officers. Perform critical and confidential administrative/secretarial duties and coordinate the production of correspondence and work projects for above executives.Screen incoming communications and messaging to best assist and coordinate meetings, calls, and in person appointments. Evaluate the relative importance of each and handle appropriately.Assist and collaborate with other Executive Assistants on an as needed basis.Perform other duties as assigned.YOU AREA highly motivated self-starter who can work with a minimum level of supervision.Excellent at problem solving and making independent judgments.A rapport builder, exercising strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships across the organization.A wordsmith, crafting clear correspondence and communications.Organized, prioritizing competing tasks with confidentiality, accuracy, and efficiency.YOU HAVEHigh school or equivalent degree.5+ years’ work experience providing senior level administrative support in progressively responsible positions.Experience in a publicly held company highly desired.Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote/Drive) with an ability to create presentations using PowerPoint and/or other presentation software.Strong familiarity with calendaring, event planning and understanding what motivates people and teams.This job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities, but constitutes a general definition of the position's scope and function in the company.Columbia Sportswear is an equal opportunity employer.
