Position Summary

Samsung Ads, the advertising monetization arm of Samsung Electronics, leverages proprietary real-time TV viewing behavior and insights to promote relevant brands and content experiences for consumers. We partner with brands, agencies, and content owners to deliver unique advertising opportunities on native placements within our Smart TV platform and programmatically with a cross-device solution.

Samsung’s unique first-party data helps brands connect to their audience as they explore content across desktop, mobile, tablets, and our Smart TVs. The Samsung Ad platform delivers high-quality audience targeting powered by three key components: first-party audience data at scale, world-class data science, and brand-safe cross-device ad inventory.Role And Responsibilities

We’re looking for a confident individual to lead Product Marketing efforts for Samsung Ads focused on media & entertainment offerings, inclusive of ad experiences across the Samsung ecosystem (TV, Mobile, and other devices), audience, measurement, and insights. He/She should have a self-starter mindset with a passion for driving the go-to-market strategy for innovative products and solutions. The Product Marketing Manager will be the dedicated liaison between the Advertiser and Product Management, Business Operations, and the Insights and Analytics teams to ensure streamlined communication and regular sharing of market knowledge within the Media and Entertainment domains.

Candidates must have a strong knowledge base of digital advertising, with data and programmatic being core areas of experience. Knowledge of the connected TV space and mobile advertising is a plus. He/She will be expected to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company.

The Product Marketing Manager will report directly to the Head of Media and Entertainment (New Product Solutions) and will be based in either New York City or Los Angeles. Specific responsibilities include:

Aggregates Sales Lead, AE, and customer-level feedback into a unified, vertical point of viewIdentifies vertical jobs-to-be-done, revenue opportunities, and prioritiesDevelops Business requirements for new vertical-specific solutions/products based on revenue opportunities and prioritiesOwns stewardship of new vertical-specific solutions/products throughout the Solution Design & Development LifecycleEngages with P&E stakeholders to track progress of roadmaps of vertical solutionsDevelop vertical-specific GTM plansBuilds internal sales narrative and presentation in the ‘voice of the customer’ for new products and solutions.Partners with NPS Strategy teams to conduct Quarterly Innovation Reviews with Sales, P&E & MarketingServe as an evangelist for Samsung Ads products through partnering with PR for thought leadership social media, and speaking engagements.Qualifications:

6+ years of experience working in ad tech and mediaDomain knowledge in product marketing, product solutions or data strategyDeep understanding of the digital ad landscape, in particular CTV and mobileDemonstrable experience partnering with product and sales teams based in different regions/countriesExperience working on teams in a fast-paced environmentTechnical understanding of AdTech workflow a plusAbility to make complex products easy to understand and sellExperience in solution development, pricing, and revenue projections associated with products, and the ability to pitch and get buy-in on the planAbility to forge strong working relationships with stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Product and OperationsEducation

Bachelor’s degree in business, Advertising or related fieldMaster’s or MBA degree helpfulFor candidates based in New York or California, compensation for this role is expected to be between $125,000 and $145,000.
