The Account Executive within the McDonald’s Account Team assists in the day-to-day management of the client’s local marketing and advertising business activity. The ideal candidate is eager to learn the QSR industry, understand the overall business goals for the Client, and support the Agency in their development of marketing plans.This role is a hybrid work-from-home and in-person/in-market.Responsibilities:

Manage monthly retail guides for restaurants, assisting the Account Team in retail plan strategies, project managing retail element creative processes, and managing retail updates and submissions as needed for the market.Digital project management of local McDonald’s app and delivery offers, working with the Account Team on digital offer strategy, monthly offer submissions, and reports with results for internal and client teams.Coordinate, track, and communicate creative projects through agency processes to ensure scope of work, creative brief insights, brand standards, timelines, budgets, and approvals are met.Execute partnership, event activation, and PR activation creative as needed under the supervision of the Account Supervisor and PR departments, including development of creative materials, vendor coordination, ticket distribution, event recaps, and client communication.Support Account Team in management of weekly invoicing, monthly billing, and tracking of spend and savings against approved budget.Assist the Account Supervisor in organization and preparation of client meetings, collecting key presentations from various parties ensuring necessary processes are followed.Monitor QSR industry and local competitive activity; share important consumer insights and industry trends relevant to the business.Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

One to three years of relevant marketing and/or advertising experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field from a four-year college or university. Internship or prior experience a plus.Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.Strong eye for detail in all tasks with a high degree of accuracy.Resourceful and solution-oriented; ability to provide critical thinking and showcase problem-solving skills.Comfortable following up with teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.Ability to multi-task and prioritize in situations that require adaptability and flexibility.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proactive in developing relationships internally and externally.Ability to work with increasingly less direct supervision.Experience with or interest in marketing to multicultural consumers a plus.Willingness to travel locally (New England markets) for in-person client and vendor meetings as needed.
