WHAT IS MY ROLE:The Account Executive on JCK is responsible for achieving space and media revenue goals through growing an existing territory along with prospecting and driving new business not just on our flagship JCK event, but also for JCK Magazine and JCK Online. Knowledge of digital advertising is preferred.What can you expect from us?We will support you with world class employee resource groups across a range of topics included Wellness, Diversity & Inclusion, career and personal education.A supportive and fast paced working environment. We understand the flexibilities needed in today’s working world.Onboarding support to learn our systems, database and show offerings.Continued opportunities for growth via the channels at RX.What we ask from you:Ability to organize and manage a sales territory, prioritizing key sales initiatives such as digital offerings, identifying high potential accounts and continued outreach during the sales cycle.Strengthen existing account relationships using a value based selling approach to understand customers' goals and needs.Nurture and grow new business accounts that enter the territory, identifying high potential customers.Attention to detail with systems and Salesforce management. Key tasks include activity logging, call notes, pipeline reporting and cleanup.Work with key internal groups such as customer success, marketing, finance and operations where appropriate to address client needs and issues.Desire to learn and grow, including embracing new practices/technologies, gathering ideas from other colleagues, and travel where necessary to other shows within and outside of the RX portfolio.Strong drive to meet and exceed goals and targets.Commitment to work with the team, which may at times require putting individual needs behind others for the good of the group and/or show.Event experience not required, but ability to adapt to a changing event industry is a necessity.Strong written and oral communication skills.Strong organizational and accurate reporting skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel (advanced knowledge preferred), Word and Power Point.Minimum of two years of sales or account management experience.WORKING WITH USWe are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to help you succeed.
