Our projects cover a wide range of sizes and vertical markets, from classrooms to museums to hospitals. You will have ownership of the full sales process, including lead generation, proposal response, and closing activities. Compensation = Base + Commission.Responsibilities:Cultivate and enhance relationships with Mechanical Contractors and General Contractors, aiming to become a valued extension of their teams and jointly secure projects.Engage with MEP consulting engineers, serving as their trusted advisor by offering technical guidance and project layouts as the foundation for new build designs.Target owners and end users beyond our existing customer base.Provide technical and business counsel to consultants and design-build contractors.Identify and assess new sales opportunities.Adhere to a sales plan to meet annual objectives.Estimate project costs and draft proposals based on MEP plans and specifications.Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to develop cost-effective proposals and ensure project success.Stay current with the latest technologies available in the market and how they can benefit our clients.Actively participate in trade associations and organizations to expand our presence in the market through networking.Create and deliver sales presentations for project interviews, new technology launches, and more.Maintain involvement in projects even after the sale, including kick-offs with operations and follow-ups with clients. Partner with Service Account Executives to smoothly transition new construction projects, expand our footprint within their facilities, and ensure client satisfaction.Develop and implement account management plans.Perform other duties as assigned.MUST HAVE:Three years related experience in sales, construction, or technology.Must have experience selling in the Building Automation Space.Experience with systems such as Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Andover Controls, CSI, TAC, Siemens, Reliable, Tridium, etc.Must be self-driven to achieve annual goals and objectives as well as operate in a team environment.NICE TO HAVE:An undergraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management, or other related studies.Interested in hearing more?
