Growth Marketing Channels Director

is responsible for driving growth across all products within the enterprise through full funnel media strategies. This role requires a high degree of analytical and quantitative orientation to maximize the financial performance of marketing investments across brand media, digital performance marketing, and SEO/organic marketing.This leadership role will create, frame, then effectively communicate a strategic vision to senior partners across multiple disciplines. This vision will focus on activating sophisticated media philosophies to optimize performance at an individual market, channel, and prospect/customer level. To deliver on this vision, he or she will drive innovation and operational efficiency through the latest advancements in marketing technology.The ideal candidate will blend the art of brand building with the science of advanced measurement frameworks to quantify the full impact of all actions. He or she will also excel in organizational management, leading and developing talented teams of internal media strategists focused on individual segments across brand media, digital performance media, and organic media.Duties & Responsibilities

Driving Business Results

Contribute to the overall revenue and customer growth of the company by delivering measurable, incremental business value from marketing investments.Accountable for new customer acquisition and the growth function within marketing which is managed and expected to perform like a P&L.Set marketing goals and objectives for each line of business and their various products/initiatives.Plan, implement, and manage marketing strategies for all lines of business. Acquisition of new customers across segments (consumer and business checking/deposits, credit card, lending, commercial, private bank), digital marketing for engagement and deepening, brand marketing across all segments.Work with product owners to conduct bottoms-up marketing production forecasts; reforecast based on actuals and trends monthly.Track KPIs regularly, presenting results and alternative strategies to business stakeholders and senior executives.Fully own budgeting and forecasting with accountabilities to finance and leadership. Proven track record of managing complex budgeting and partnership with finance.Possess a deep understanding of segment financials, aligning marketing budget and the overall marketing plan to help the segments successfully achieve their goals.Marketing Expertise

Lead large scale, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive measurable business results.Deep understanding of marketing techniques and channels – SEO, paid search, influencer/affiliate marketing, paid social, platform display, programmatic media, broadcast television and radio.Responsible for keeping the company current on digital and consumer trends – including digital advertising, emerging platforms, measurement techniques, consumer behavior.Keep abreast of world-class tools and resources and make recommendations for investment.Define the AdTech vision for the bank to modernize our marketing through data-driven personalization in both paid and owned channels.Robust knowledge on how to use each element of a multi-faceted measurement framework consisting of last touch attribution, media mix modeling, and multi-touch attribution.Leadership

Lead a team of high-performing marketers with highly specialized skill sets that manage 70%+ of the marketing and communications budget, with a heavy emphasis on digital marketing.Develop and manage the annual departmental budget, operating and capital goals, objectives to support the organization's mission and initiatives.Manage internal and external agencies to get best-in-class work. Work with both your team and your peers to identify, select and manage third-party resources that assist in new projects or staff augmentation as needed.Maintain strong vendor relationships that yield first-look opportunities and unrivaled proprietary insights.Work with both your team and your peers to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to eliminate waste.Advocate for continuous improvement of solutions by developing new processes and optimizing existing processes.Ability to develop and leverage talent.Train team and educate on performance media and programmatic techniques.Helps continually evaluate organizational structure.Perform other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree8+ years of performance digital marketing experience, with expertise in paid, owned, and earned channels.Preferred Qualifications

Experience with performance based digital marketing programs in complex organizations.Experience leading a high performing team.Experience driving business results through digital programs.Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor.Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to convey and sell your ideas to senior leadership.Ability to develop working relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization.Strong presentation skills and ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.Strong project management and execution skills.Ability to work individually and motivate a team.Experience running a marketing P&L.Proven track record of driving measurable business results through marketing investments.Demonstrated experience leading and developing digital marketing capabilities that drive revenue.Passion, executive presence, and strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, powerful narratives to consumers and partners.Has a growth mindset: self-motivated, curious, and creative; self-directed learner.Highly quantitative, analytical and numbers focused.Experience delivering actionable reporting and insights.Exempt Status
