The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.Salary Range : $76,600.00 - $126,300.00Target Openings : 1What Is the Opportunity?Join the team that collaborates across Travelers to provide actionable insights to inform business decisions, drive winning strategies and enable the business to capitalize on change and trends. Enterprise Market Research (EMR) provides internal clients with objective, credible insights to help profitably grow the business, build the brand and positively position Travelers in the marketplace. This position will report to the Manager, Primary Quantitative Market Research Operations and will interact broadly with the entire EMR team as well as internal business unit clients.What Will You Do?Primary Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesUnder moderate supervision, manages primary market research project activities including analytical and reporting; programming online surveys, project logistics, data analytics, and reporting of varying complexities.Design and manage primary quantitative research projects, program online surveys, sample vendor management, manages data collection through fielding, sets up data tables and generates findings. Collaborates with EMR team on project design to understand methodologies and timely delivery of results. Analyzes and reports on survey results relative to project objectives.Balancing multiple projects while working with manager to help prioritize project work and deliverables.Other duties as assigned. Position does not manage others.Essential FunctionsEffectively communicate project logistics to internal and external partners.Program online surveys, manage data collection, set up data tables and generate findings.Work on a variety of projects of above average complexity across all businesses.Experience with synthesizing and summarizing data into readable and creative reports.Other duties as assigned.What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or comparable analytical degree preferred.3+ years of market research or related experience preferred.Property casualty insurance and/or B-to-B experience desired but not required.Experience managing projects with cross-team responsibilities, vendor partnership and budget tracking.Working knowledge of SPSS, Wincross or similar data analysis tool.Experience using survey programming tools required (Qualtrics experience is a plus).Experience using, analyzing, and reporting primary research cross tabulations/data.Experience designing and executing primary research projects.What is a Must Have?Minimum of 1 year of market research or related experience required.What Is in It for You?Health Insurance: Employees and their eligible family members – including spouses, domestic partners, and children – are eligible for coverage from the first day of employment.Retirement: Travelers matches your 401(k) contributions dollar-for-dollar up to your first 5% of eligible pay, subject to an annual maximum.
