Role Description
The Design Manager is responsible for the design execution of our presentation materials, including the hands-on production as well as the art direction and visual problem solving to help our partners tell the most compelling story. In addition to ensuring a high level of design across all our efforts, this role also creates and perfects internal-use templates and is responsible for their design and build out.
This role contributes greatly to the overall design and creative efforts of the Multimedia team by developing and ideating creative concepts and executions for events, trade shows, and UP&E brand needs.
Deck Art Direction / Building
Visual development of Ads and pitch materials
Ensures a consistent high level of design across all efforts
Create franchise and internal brand templates - design systems
Internal education on design best practices as it relates specifically to deck building
Visual problem solving to help our partners tell the most compelling story
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
5+ years in presentation design experience
Strong MAC skills including highly proficient in Keynote, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Acrobat)
Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
Prior experience working with “C”-level executives
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Effective communication, including speaking, writing, and active listening
Ability to juggle long and short-term deadlines in a dynamic working environment
Stays current with understanding of business/organizational priorities and evolving industry trends
Must be willing to work nights and weekends and travel both domestically and internationally
Eligibility Requirements:
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
Desired Characteristics:
Comfortable in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Comfortable dealing with people at all levels, and easily collaborates to develop and maintain strong relationships
Enthusiastic and energetic when interacting with others
A passion and interest in consumer products, film/content, franchise/marketing strategy, and studio process worldwide

Salary range: $75,000 - 105,000 (bonus eligible)
