We are seeking to hire a full-time

Research Data Coordinator

for the Johns Hopkins University research unit of an international hypertension initiative, Resolve to Save Lives (RTSL), and multi-center cohort studies, the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities (ARIC) Study and the Hispanic Community Health Study/Study of Latino (HCHS/SOL) study.Specific duties & responsibilitiesRTSL is a new initiative aiming to improve blood pressure control and reduce sodium intake in low- and middle-income countries. ARIC is a large NIH-funded cohort of almost 16,000 people followed for over three decades. SOL is a large NIH-funded cohort of almost 16,000 participants in Hispanic/Latino populations in the US followed for over a decade.Assisting in literature search and summarizing relevant literature.Assisting in the interpretation and writing of statistical results or other parts for manuscripts and other reports.Active collaboration with RTSL, ARIC, and SOL investigators regarding literature review and data summary and presentations with a particular focus on peripheral artery disease and arterial stiffness.Data compilation and basic data analysis.Project management (tracking the progress of multiple projects, following up task leaders, and drafting progress reports).Participation in regular seminars and meetings of Johns Hopkins University research unit.The ideal candidate for this position will have outstanding collaborative and organizational skills and a strong interest in epidemiologic and biostatistical research.Data management skills are important.Special Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesExperience in data management using Stata, SAS, and/or R, is required. Technical qualifications or specialized certifications.Experience in data management using Stata, SAS, R, and/or other statistical packages is required.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related discipline.One year of related experience required.
