The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Family Law, with a particular focus on divorce cases. We are a tech-forward firm, and we value individuals who can leverage technology to improve efficiency and client service. The role involves substantial litigation and negotiation work, requiring a candidate with a strong track record in these areas.ResponsibilitiesRepresenting clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation, and arguing on behalf of clients.Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.Negotiating settlements in civil disputes, often in relation to divorce and family matters.Leveraging technology to manage cases, track billable hours, conduct legal research, and communicate with clients.Advising clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.Analyzing probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.Gathering evidence to formulate defense or initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.Specializing in Family Law, with a particular focus on divorce cases.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar.Minimum of 3 years of experience in Family Law, with a particular focus on divorce cases.Proven experience in litigation and negotiation, with a strong track record of successful outcomes.Tech-forward mindset, with proficiency in legal research software, case management systems, and other legal technology tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.High ethical standards and professional integrity.Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong client service orientation, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.If you are a driven, detail-oriented individual with a passion for Family Law and a desire to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
