This is a permanent position with a primary focus on personal injury cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a heavy caseload and handling all aspects of the case from inception through resolution, including client interaction, negotiation, arbitration, and litigation. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for advocating for clients who have been injured due to the negligence or intentional acts of others.ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through resolution.Conduct initial case evaluations to determine the validity of a claim and devise a strategic plan for litigation.Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense attorneys.Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and advice on their cases.Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the effective management of all cases.Stay updated with changes in law and legal practices related to personal injury law.Develop relationships with clients based on trust, and work diligently to achieve the best possible outcome for them.QualificationsJuris Doctorate from an accredited law school.Admission to the Montana State Bar and in good standing.A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law.Proven track record of successfully negotiating and litigating personal injury cases.Excellent negotiation skills and ability to drive case resolutions.Proficient in all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.Experience with arbitration and mediation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys.Ability to manage a heavy caseload and multitask effectively.Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated empathy for the injured.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
