MSK TriTech Group, LLC (MSK), a wholly owned subsidiary of Patricio Enterprises, is looking to fill a Data Scientist position at Ft Belvoir, VA.Primary duties will include (but not limited to):Provides technical support in the evaluation of prime object names, data elements, and other objects.Evaluates proposed objects and their attributes.Ensures that proposed object definitions are clear, concise, technically correct, and that they represent singular concepts.Ensures that the values of object attributes and domains are accurate and correct. Ensures that the proposed objects are consistent with data and process models.Creates and maintains data dictionary.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Ability to analyze data and report it back in a way that less tech-savvy coworkers can easily understand.Well versed in a variety of programming languages, such as Java, Python, R, and SQL.Strong background in mathematics.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of experience.Experience working with cloud computing (desired).PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity. Occasionally lifts to 20 lbs.Employees must be able to see and hear, read, and write effectively in English. Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, good judgment, reading, memorizing, social skills, speaking, stress control, and writing. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information; ability to apply common sense in performing the job.
