Job Description:

We are seeking a Data Scientist specialized in model optimization to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the performance of our mathematical and statistical models through advanced optimization techniques. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in mathematics and data science and a proven track record of applying optimization methods to reduce complexity and size of deployed solutions in various industries.Responsibilities:

Develop and implement advanced optimization algorithms to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of machine learning models.Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate optimization solutions into larger systems.Conduct rigorous performance analysis and continuous improvement of existing models.Requirements:

Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.Experienced in mathematical, simulation, signal processing, machine learning or physical modeling.Experienced in optimization algorithms and statistical modeling (e.g. differentiable functions, Bracketing Algorithms, Local Descent Algorithms, Gradient Descent, Momentum, Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD), Adam (Adaptive Moment Estimation), Limited-memory, Broyden Fletcher Goldfarb Shanno (L-BFGS), Simulated Annealing, Genetic Algorithms, Cross-Entropy Method, Markov Chain Monte Carlo, etc.).Experience with distributed computing and performance tuning of large-scale systems.Proficient in programming languages such as Python.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details into clear, actionable insights.
