As an Appliance Repair Technician, you play a pivotal role within our team, responsible for ensuring the top-notch installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances and related equipment. You will also have the opportunity to expand our customer base by identifying prospects for additional services while upholding our core values and demonstrating respect and courtesy towards customers and fellow team members.

This position is a perfect fit for you if you possess self-motivation, a keen aptitude for troubleshooting, and excel in managing your time to meet deadlines efficiently. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.

Specific Responsibilities:

Expertly install home appliances and equipment.

Accurately diagnose and repair appliances and equipment within customers' homes.

Provide comprehensive cost estimates for repairs and installations, and efficiently collect payment or payment information from customers for services rendered.

Ensure the economical use of materials while maintaining the company vehicle and equipment in optimal condition.

Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as necessary.

Undertake other duties as required, including cross-training in related positions.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Proficiency in using tablet-based technology.

Capability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and up to 100 pounds occasionally, without assistance, along with the physical stamina to perform demanding tasks under varying conditions.

Flexibility to accommodate variable hours (weekends not required).

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this role, the employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate verbally. The employee may occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
