The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work within and between domains (e.g. commercial, customer experience, consumer data, operational, medical and corporate functions data). It is a cross-functional role, undertaking projects within heterogeneous teams together with other scientists, engineers and business experts. As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work in Bridgewater (USA).Main responsibilities as Data Scientist:Apply data science expertise to multiple analytics projectsUtilize Snowflake Data Foundations to explore and analyze large datasets relevant to corporate functionsIdentify patterns, trends, and insights to support decision-making processesCollaborate with data engineers to integrate these models into the Snowflake Data FoundationsWork with respective partners as needed to build machine learning models to derive predictive and prescriptive analytics for Digital corporate functions P&C and other Corp FunctionsUse data analysis, visualization, storytelling, and data technologies to scope, define and deliver data productsParticipate in data science or cross-functional working groups in addressing specific challenges/ad-hoc projects. Work in fast-paced agile environment as member of a product team (POD)Work with Informatica as the middleware to ensure seamless integration of data between various sources and SnowflakeClean, preprocess, and transform data to ensure its suitability for analysis and modelingWork on projects a) Uplift (P&C Architecture revamp for data between Workday, Informatica and Postgres) and b) Snowflake P&C Data Foundations enrichmentAbout You:Master’s degree, ideally in Medical, Life sciences and/or MarketingFamiliarity with the core data science languages (such as Python, R, Scala), and database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)Knowledge of cloud and high-performance computer environments (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Azure, Informatica)Familiarity with Agile concepts and principlesExcellent written and verbal communication, business analysis, data visualization and data storytelling skillsEnglish is a must, French would be a plusNice to have:Experience in production-ready software developmentKnowledge of Tableau, Power BI, VisierExperience in life sciences and healthcareExperience in a complex global organizationPlease mind that only applications submitted in English will be considered.Note: this role is a VIE opportunity and is only available to European citizens due to external regulations.Target start date: May 2024Pursue progress, discover extraordinaryBetter is out there.
