You are joining a team that cares for the well-being of our colleagues by working together in a supportive, collaborative, and agile environment.CVS Health is hiring a Corporate Events Manager who is part of the Corporate Events team, a division of the Marketing department, which supports the entire CVS Health organization for events. Our mission is to create and execute innovative brand experiences for our business partners and customers that foster growth, retention, and reflect our corporate goals and objectives.This individual will be responsible for managing meetings, tradeshows, and events within the Center of Excellence. Day to day, this individual will partner with key business stakeholders to develop event strategies that help influence our constituents, industry, and grow our brand. This person will advocate delivery of best-in-class event planning and management to ensure our teams’ services are consistent across all projects.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage a variety of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events which include varying complexities for both internal/external customers.Work in collaboration with the Aetna meetings and events team on agreed-upon events from start to finish, including venue sourcing, pre-event planning, project management, registration management, budget management, onsite event support, final reconciliation, and billing accuracy.Partner with Enterprise leaders to create compelling agendas, customer, and employee engagement; influence overall design of events ensuring consistent enterprise best practices are leveraged.Strategically work with internal business partners across the Enterprise to understand, facilitate and support their goals and objectives while proactively and effectively integrating events into business plans that help grow our business and achieve desired outcomes.Develop and maintain internal business partner relationships by delivering the highest level of customer service while delivering successful event outcomes and flawless execution.Partner with internal business partners and teams to establish appropriate event strategies and project plans, ensuring clear communications of objectives, timelines, budget, project status, expectations while providing updates on a regular basis.Partner with external relationships (agencies, vendors) and work with cross-functional internal teams; creative services, marketing operations, which support direct efforts and collaborate closely to develop and successfully execute programs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as legal, IT, HR, and marketing to facilitate components of meetings and various needs.Ensure all compliance policy and procedures are followed, completes all required approvals and processes.Candidate will work with internal Operations Manager for meeting approvals, tracking, and assigning meetings to third parties.Partner with procurement on legal contracts, SOW’s, LOA’s.Oversight and management of event financials, reconciliation, and cost savings documentation.Deliver operational requirements and tasks in the agreed timeline per internal stakeholder requests.Measure key ROI.Remain current and updated on industry trends in event management and integrate them into the design of the event, when applicable.Required Qualifications:Minimum 5-7 years of meeting management, tradeshow, and event experience with internal and external customers.Cvent expertise (RFP, website development, overall management, communications, reporting).Preferred Qualifications:Business driving strengths including strong analytical, organization and planning abilities, and solution-oriented decision-making.Dedicated and focused with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple competing tasks.Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels within Enterprise.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong understanding of meeting technologies.Travel required:

This position will require approximately 25-50%. Must be able to carry and lift heavy objects up to 35 lbs. Must have a valid driver’s license to rent cars.Location:

Hartford, CT office based – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office with flexibility to work Monday or Friday in an office setting if needed.Education:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (HS Diploma and 4 years of experience) required.CMP certificate, preferred.Cvent Certification, preferred.Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is: $63,300.00 - $139,200.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.
