Responsible for strategic coordination and execution of day-to-day administrative and customer service activities for assigned accounts, and capable of resolving complex customer service problems, showing the ability for critical thinking and thought process in taking the next step in the best interest of the client, carrier partner and IOA.What You’ll Do:Maintain high degree of technical competence and industry/market expertiseExercise discretion and independent judgment to ensure beneficial outcomes for clients and IOAServe as Account Manager Subject Matter Expert answering questions, providing support, and developing solutions to client problems for account teamAssist in directing day-to-day activities and workflow assigned to administrative, customer service and account management teamManagement and execution of a variety of customer service and value-added service requests/inquiriesManage policy expirations for existing clients and work proactively to ensure appropriate actions are taken to facilitate renewalsManage new business and policy renewal process in conjunction with AE and/or ProducerMonitor Accounts Receivables reports and take action on any delinquent accountsMaintain agency management system, ensuring all data entered is complete, clearly presented and well-documentedDeliver excellent service at all times, including proactively anticipating needsContinually seek to improve individual and team performanceLive and champion IOA core values at all timesRegular and consistent attendance is expectedPerform other duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking For:5+ years of account management experience; or 7+ years related experience in the insurance industryHas a very good working knowledge of insurance brokerage business and all clients’ needsAll required active licensingAt least one professional designation preferred, such as CIC or equivalentStrong analytical, problem solving and decision making skillsExceptional customer service skillsExcellent multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skillsOutstanding verbal/written communication skillsAbility to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy and attention to detailPC proficiency, including basic knowledge of MS Office productsExceptional personal characterHigh School Diploma (or equivalent)What We Offer:Competitive salaries and bonus earning potentialGreat benefits, including company paid health insurancePaid time off for holidays, vacations, and sick time401K with an employer matchParticipation in our employee stock planOpportunities for professional growth and career progressionA culture that emphasizes respect for every individualCompany commitment to work/family life balance and community serviceTeammates who share your drive for excellenceKnowing every day you are helping our clients protect their families and businesses
