Senior Global Product Manager . The Senior Global Product Manager works as part of the DS Commercial/Downstream Marketing Team to manage the left heart lead and delivery system portfolio. We are hiring a global senior product manager that will lead commercialization efforts of new products and drive the adoption of existing products used in implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) and cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (CRT-D) implant procedures. The DS Procedure Innovations Commercial Marketing Team is seeking a commercially minded individual with a demonstrated track record of supporting a field sales organization and with prior product marketing and/or project/launch leadership experience. This highly visible role will serve as the global lead and launch manager for the left heart lead and delivery system portfolio, which encompasses vital implant tools and technology that enable positive and differentiated clinical outcomes for patients and providers.A Day in the Life

Serve as marketing lead in cross functional product development Core Team to complete key marketing deliverables to ensure product launch readiness.Responsible for development and execution of commercial launch strategy including messaging, customer segmentation & targeting, positioning, and pricing & contracting.Lead extended commercial launch team to ensure successful organizational launch readiness including alignment with education, sales training & operations, operations, regulatory, legal, clinical, and other stakeholders.Develop marketing strategies and tactics to ensure effective product commercialization relative to market opportunity, working closely with regional marketing leaders over entire product life cycle.Work with finance and operations to maintain financial model and demand forecast.Identifies and implements business and marketing competency improvements and lead project development and implementation.Develop/execute tactics leveraging cross-functional and field partners to achieve team goals.Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree7+ years of experience in a marketing role with a Bachelors’ degree, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.Product management or launch/commercialization experiencePreferred Qualifications

MBAExperience in the healthcare or medical device industry (general knowledge of practices, techniques and standards (e.g. roles of clinical trials, reimbursement landscape)Clinical/technical understanding of cardiovascular therapies and procedure or demonstrated ability to learn technical products quicklyProject management skillsSuperior written and verbal communications skillsStrong negotiation and influence management skillsProven ability to lead effectively in a dynamic, matrix environmentStrong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skillsSound financial and business analytics skillsAbility to plan, organize, monitor, and execute marketing projectsAbout Medtronic
