Role DescriptionThe Marketing Manager, Parasiticides is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives for the entire cattle parasiticides portfolio. He/she will provide operating and strategic plan input and be accountable for achieving the quarterly and yearly P&L operating plan for US Parasiticides. The Marketing Manager will maintain a high level of interaction with relevant Zoetis functional areas such as Technical Services, Sales, Finance, and Marketing Agencies to ensure strategy and tactics are included in the comprehensive approach of the overall parasiticide portfolio. In this position, he/she will manage the A&P assigned budget, ensuring proper resource allocation, and lead the development of content by working closely with Marketing Communications/Coordinators. Preferred candidates should be located in NC or Texas but can also be reasonably located near a major airport.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish, oversee and implement the Beef parasiticides portfolio marketing strategies to support the growth of the Zoetis Parasiticides portfolio.Provide clear direction and actively engage with cross-functional teams to build and maintain a robust product and services pipeline.Monitor and gather key customer insights, competitive activities, and market insights to incorporate into effective marketing strategies.Lead, develop and execute product launches within the parasiticides portfolio.Ensure key stakeholder alignment, resource allocation, accurate forecasts, and clear KPIs for marketing metric reports.Accountable for Op Plan input and follow-up from the financial and strategic perspective.Responsible for parasiticides demand forecasting and working with manufacturing teams on accurate monthly and annual demand planning.Work with the Marketing Communications Managers and Agencies to deliver proper communication content and marketing materials focusing on digital.Manage the assigned A&P budget and meet quarterly and annual A&P budget targets.Develop quality marketing activation plans and deliver high-quality, cost-effective promotional tools for distribution to field sales representatives.Maintain ongoing relationships with relevant Beef Industry institutions to ensure Zoetis representation and incorporate key customer insights into effective marketing strategies.Oversee marketing agency deliverables and other external suppliers to ensure partner capabilities meet team needs.Identify synergies and efficiencies across Cattle & Equine franchise teams and other business units.Model Zoetis values and leader behaviors in conducting business.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEEducation:* BS or BA required (communications or business). MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.Professional:* 3+ years of related commercial, marketing, or cattle industry relationship experience required.* Animal health, pharmaceutical, and/or agricultural experience preferred.* Computer experience: Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Acrobat Pro; SAP.TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTSExcellent marketing operations and marketing communications skills. Demonstrated budget management acumen. Strong writing, editing, and verbal communications skills. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proven track record successfully leading new product launches. Ability to think strategically and act decisively.PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTSTravel: >25%
