Position Summary:

A field sales position for a highly effective and motivated sales manager. The Sales Market Manager will develop new business with new and existing customers, introduce new products, manage distribution channels, and achieve sales objectives in their region. This role requires 75% travel and is responsible for driving results with Arlon Innovations’ major distribution partners & mass market end-user accounts across all Arlon Innovation products.

Responsibilities:

SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Represent Arlon Innovations brand and grow sales in territoryDrive new business and achieve targeted sales goalsDevelop, cultivate, and manage leads for key products and new product introductionsTravel extensively across territory to meet with key accounts and target leadsAttend trade shows and events related to sales growth and brand developmentTrain End Users in Products and ApplicationsIdentify key direct accounts and work with Arlon team to develop sales plan for each target.

DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT

Maintain and grow current channel revenue.Develop and implement regional business plan for market share growth in accordance with marketing objectives and project needs.Drive sales, product and service strategy with regional distributionComplete national distribution support activities for all locations within your regionSet regional distributor and end user account objectives/goals and identify resources and timelines to achieve objectivesTrain distribution sales staff and perform joint sales calls with distributorsBuild relationships with End User accounts to create distributor pull throughProspect for new accounts or distributors to gain market shareRecommend to distributor methods to grow and expand.

SALES PLANNING & ADMINISTRATION

Report sales activities in HubspotIndependently manage accounts and opportunitiesOwn customer satisfaction of account list and coordinate with Arlon personnel to achieve expectations.Provide market feedback on needed Arlon capabilities/resources.Assist with the development of Strategy Deployment and Action Plans to achieve objectivesRecommend pricing strategies by market and by distributor to the Product ManagersProvide Monthly Reports based upon Strategy DeploymentCommunicate opportunities and travel plans to supervisorEngage technical resources and recommend new or custom product developmentDevelop and submit T&E expense budgets & reports to support regional management activities.

Requirements

Minimum Required Education, Skills and Experience:

Bachelor degree in relevant field or a combination of minimum high school degree (or equivalent) and applicable experience.Minimum three (3) to eight (8) years of recent experience in a similar role.Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM, web researchAbility, availability and willingness to travel as required by business needs, with acceptable driving history and valid driver license and travel documents.Superior communication skills in the English language (inter-personal, listening, verbal, written, presentation).Is personally guided by, espouses, communicates, and works with, and through, values of Integrity, Excellence, Inspirational, Teamwork and Accountability (Arlon’s Core Values). Optional Education, Skills, And Experience:
