Position Summary
Harness is looking for a sales champion who is excited to continue building the next great software company. As a Commercial Account Executive, you will play a key role in landing net new logos and expanding business within an assigned territory. You will join a team of talented sales individuals who are passionate about exceeding goals and taking their career to the next level.
About The Role
Exceeding your number - Winning new logos, and upselling/cross-selling in your installed baseManaging full sales cycle from prospect to closeForecasting correctly, communicating clearly, aligning brilliantly with the rest of the teamNot being afraid of being data-driven - including using Salesforce and other tools to track your progressCollaborating with other teams, including sales engineering and sales developmentBe a great Commercial Sales team player, share your learnings and participate on team calls
About You
You have 1+ years of direct software sales experience and a proven track record of managing complex sales cycles from start to endUnderstands the value of utilizing a strong sales methodology such as MEDDIC when building pipeline and qualifying opportunitiesYou're able to pipeline generate and break into brand new logos from scratchYou don’t cut corners, even with SFDC hygieneYou’re an entrepreneur - you know that owning your own pipeline generation is fundamental to your successYou’re a natural champion builder and go the extra mile to add real valueYou constantly look for solutions to problems, and how to solve business painsYou’re ready to think differently, learn, and embrace new methodologiesYou have a proven track record of consistently exceeding targets in a quota carrying role

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
The compensation package for this position also includes a commission/variable component, which is based on performance, plus equity, and benefits.
