As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our payment systems, protecting sensitive information, and mitigating potential risks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance security measures, keeping our organization at the forefront of cybersecurity. The detailed responsibilities include:Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for payment systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Threat Analysis and Vulnerability Management: Conduct thorough analysis of security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate and respond to potential security incidents.Security Testing: Perform regular security assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews to identify and address security vulnerabilities in payment systems.Incident Response: Lead and coordinate incident response activities, including investigation, analysis, and communication of security incidents. Develop and maintain incident response plans.Security Awareness and Training: Develop and deliver security awareness programs to educate employees on best practices for information security and data protection.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to integrate security measures into all aspects of the organization's processes.Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements related to payment security.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role in the payment industry.In-depth knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.Experience with security technologies and tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
