We are seeking a seasoned Global Payroll Director to join our team and lead our payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in every process.
Position Summary:
The Global Payroll Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll operations for over 2,000 employees across multiple regions. This role requires a deep understanding of multi-state and global payroll, international payroll tax regulations, and experience with ADP systems. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in global payroll management, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the end-to-end payroll process for a global workforce of over 2,000 employees across multiple regions, including the US, Europe, and countries like Dubai, India, and Singapore. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and international payroll tax laws and regulations. Oversee the preparation, processing, and reconciliation of payroll, including base pay, bonuses, and other compensation elements. Manage payroll-related reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to regulatory authorities. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll integration and support business needs. Lead and mentor the payroll team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities. Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy. Handle escalated payroll issues, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining a high level of employee satisfaction. Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws, tax regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Utilize ADP WFN system for payroll processing and reporting, ensuring optimal use of technology to streamline operations. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred). 10+ years of experience in payroll management, with extensive experience in multi-state and global payroll operations. Expertise in international payroll tax regulations. Proven experience managing payroll for over 2,000 employees. Strong proficiency with ADP payroll systems and related software. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing payroll team. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and regions. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
