Senior Software Engineer, Backend - Brand Platform

Title : Sr. Software Engineer | Brand PlatformLocation : US-RemoteReports to : Engineering ManagerAbout the role:Join the LTK Family! We are searching for a senior level software engineer to work on opportunities to enhance and streamline our user experiences. By prioritizing efficiency and simplicity, you will aim to create intuitive, efficient, and delightful user interactions. You will be dedicated to optimizing aspects of the user journey, ensuring that our products exceed user expectations. You will be working with other teams within and outside the organization, PMs, and other stakeholders to understand the usage of third-party software and how best to integrate and streamline the user flow and experience. You will be responsible for conducting and coordinating software development activities throughout the product life cycle within an Agile Development environment.How you will make an impact:Coming up with feasible and practical solutions to tough problems.Write very high-quality, well-tested code that is robust and easy to maintain.Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.Write high-quality tests.Work and succeed in a fast-paced and agile development environment.Identify and drive improvements to our software and development processes.Conduct constructive peer design/code reviews.Work with distributed teams across different time zones.Technical subject matter expert who mentors fellow engineers, demonstrates technical experience, and leads teams in solving challenging problems.What you will bring to LTK:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.5+ years of software development experience.Good understanding of system design, data structure, and algorithms.History of designing and building highly scalable distributed systems and processes in a cloud environment.Experience with AWS systems such as ECS, Lambda, and RDS (among others).Experience working in a containerized environment (preferably Docker).Experience writing services in Golang or compiled languages (Python, Java, etc.).Relational Database experience such as MySQL.Have built scalable internal and public-facing APIs (REST, JSON, HTTP).Experience integrating 3rd party APIs (REST, OAuth).Experience building integrations with third-party tools (HubSpot, Stripe, etc.).Experience writing tests (unit, integration, E2E).Comfortable shipping code multiple times per day.Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills.Ability to model and conceptualize the integrations across complex systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.Nice to have:Strong in at least one scripting language.Experience with non-relational data stores such as DynamoDB or Cassandra.Experience with observability tools like Datadog or Grafana.Knowledge of retail domain and affiliated marketing.What we offer:The opportunity to be part of the leading global company in creator commerce.A remote-first, productivity-first environment.Competitive compensation and benefits package to meet the needs of you and your family.401(k) with LTK company matching.Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance.Paid Maternity Leave and Paid Paternity Leave.Summer Fridays and Flexible PTO.
