OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTSSaint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 500+ provider multispecialty group that is seeking a PRN Adult Psychiatrist to join our ambulatory clinic-based practice located in Boise, Idaho.Saint Alphonsus is a principal provider of evidence-based, interdisciplinary behavioral health services within the region. Our outpatient "medically complex" practice provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for adults with complex medical conditions and mental health disorders.Working closely with the practice staff, this PRN/part-time employed psychiatrist will provide on-site consultation for diagnosis and therapeutic interventions for patients of the practice who have mental health problems. Position will provide medication management coverage for full-time psychiatrist during leave (PTO, vacation, CME).The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess and treat a diverse adult patient population with a wide variety of mental health disorders, the ability to work well with a collegial interdisciplinary team, and the desire to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.The practice includes 1 physician and 1 psychologist. Subspecialty consultants, outpatient lab and inpatient resources are located on-campus. This practice is a part of a multi-specialty network of 70+ Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) Clinics.Initially, the candidate will work one half-day per week, with potential to expand hours to one day per week. Varied coverage for FT psychiatrist's days out of office. There are no call responsibilities.Requirements for this opportunity include:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA psychiatry residency program.Board certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP) -
