As the Head of Commercial Data Science, you will work with a multidisciplinary international team of world-class professionals in Commercial to develop and maintain contemporary digital analytics capabilities that enable high impact marketing execution across all channels. The successful candidate will participate in a data-driven, agile culture that helps drive top-line growth and bring significant value and delight to patients with unmet medical needs.The role requires being onsite in Princeton, NJ 60% of the time.Responsibilities

Strategic:

Collaborate with and advise key internal stakeholders on Digital/Multichannel analytics.Support development of KPIs aligned to business objectives for tracking Digital/Multichannel activity.Demonstrate strong business acumen, excellent communication skills and ability to succinctly express point of view using both written and verbal communications.Execution:

Develop and maintain analytical framework to support customer-centric next best action modeling.Lead ongoing analyses to measure channel and message effectiveness utilizing appropriate data science and statistical techniques.Conduct hands-on adhoc analyses related to Digital/Multichannel marketing execution and customer engagement.Respond to various business questions with data-driven, actionable insights requiring the use of advanced data manipulation, synthesis and visualization techniques.Proactively propose innovative analytical solutions to business questions and problems and implement suggested methods.Provide concise analyses that go beyond a presentation of the facts to include a discussion of the associated business implications and recommended course of action.Provide effective leadership to relevant partnerships with contracted organizations.Requirements

10+ years’ experience with multichannel marketing/digital analytics in commercial pharma (agency or in-house).MS or PhD degree in a quantitative discipline.Strong background in data science and marketing analytics (e.g. multivariate statistics, predictive models, ML, simulation, etc.).Strong experience using data science tools such as R, Python preferably with experience in cloud computing (e.g. AWS).Familiarity with web, search, social analytics.Experience with customer journey analysis - segmentation methods and conversion analysis.Familiar with available commercial data sources including Rx, pharmacy claims, payer, formulary, HCP affiliations, etc.Demonstrated ability to partner with stakeholders and work in a cross-functional team environment as well as experience in managing outside consultants.Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills.Highly independent with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex, unstructured problems.About You
