Our fun, well-capitalized, and mission-driven team is expanding several-fold in the near-term – now is a great time to join!Brief Description of Position:We are looking for a dynamic, fun, and organized individual early in their career to join our Series B-funded high-growth startup as the Office Operations Manager. This individual will report directly to the Senior Accountant with a dotted line to the CEO and will be an integral part of the team and our culture. This in-office role is a key hire that will be instrumental in ensuring the success of the team and business objectives. The successful candidate will manage our office space and the day-to-day operations of the organization. It is the perfect position for a proactive, positive individual, a ‘doer’ who’s ready to pitch in alongside the founders to position the organization for scale. We’re seeking someone who’s smart, is interested in establishing or improving processes, and is excited to join a growing and passionate team.Key Responsibilities:Oversee organizational operations including office management, shipping, purchasing, mail, and lab HSECoordinate office activities: point on guest arrivals, coordinate lunches, happy hours, team eventsSupport employee onboarding process and systems setup, seating arrangements, and workspace setupSupport HR-related needs: parking, team swag, working with HR consultant to organize review cyclesCoordinate administrative support: Works with/manages in-house and/or virtual administrative assistantsManage purchasing (via 3rd party service/software) to ensure orders are processed regularlySocial Media: Responsible for coordinating and supporting CEO with social media posts (i.e., LinkedIn)Salesforce.com engagement: Supports in-house product ops team for generating reports and dashboardsEducation, Experience, and Skill Requirements:Early career or recent graduate with 1-5 years office management experience required (relevant education will be weighted more heavily with less professional experience)Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, business operations-oriented degree or coursework preferredSome social media experience preferred (i.e., coursework, professional use)Some Salesforce experience preferred (report generation, account updates)This is a great career launching pad for a smart, motivated individual to work directly with the CEO, build skill sets across a range of functional expertise, and have all the fun and upside of working at a high growth startup!Other Desirable Characteristics and Attributes:Positive, dynamic, engaging individual with strong sense of ownership and team cultureHighly motivated self-starter, proactive, a doer, can prioritize and take ownership of tasks and meet deadlinesAble to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced startup environment, strong follow through, attention to detailPlease note if you are legally authorized to work in the United States in your application.
