Full-Time/RegularCALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is currently looking to fill a Vice President, Finance/Accounting & Controller position. The Vice President, Finance & Accounting and Controller is the senior employee of the Finance and Accounting (ACC) Directorate. The Vice President reports to the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer and assists in the development and execution of financial strategy to sustain and grow the company. The Vice President acts as a Subject Matter Expert, Team Leader, and Mentor, developing the technical and operational skills of the Director, Finance & Accounting.Responsibilities:Supervises the Director, Finance & Accounting to achieve corporate goals and manage workload and professional development.Develops and executes financial strategies to sustain day-to-day operations.Designs and manages financial systems and interfaces with ancillary systems.Ensures essential reporting to internal customers.Manages relationships with regulatory authorities and public auditors.Manages vendor relationships.Oversees the execution of the annual budget and financial analyses.Presents to the Board of Directors on financials and related topics.Oversees annual audits of financials and other required audits.Ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Federal Acquisition Regulation.Completes Merger & Acquisition due diligence analyses.Identifies and manages financial risks.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills:Acts in accordance with regulatory standards.Possesses and applies highly developed leadership and managerial skills.Experience in government professional services market.In-depth problem solver with resource integration abilities.Recognized expertise in ESOP, 401(k), and other functional areas.Possesses executive-level managerial and communication skills.Ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships.Knowledge of trends affecting assigned business areas.Essential Functions:Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment.Ability to multitask and meet competing deadlines.Ability to think critically and strategically.Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.Ability to travel as needed.Required Experience:MA or MS degree in accounting and/or finance or an MBA, or equivalent experience.CPA Certification (preferred).15 to 20 years of experience in accounting, with 10 to 15 years in government contract accounting.Proficiency using Deltek CostPoint.CALIBRE and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer and support transitioning service members, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
