About The Role
We are looking for a media streaming software engineer to build an end-to-end system for viewing video and sensor data. The role requires knowledge of both frontend and backend streaming technology and will be responsible for a core part of the application. At Applied Intuition, we encourage all engineers to take ownership over technical and product decisions, interact closely with users to collect feedback, and contribute to a thoughtful, dynamic team culture.
At Applied Intuition, you will:Design a scalable, low latency platform for streaming video and sensor dataOptimize client and server performance to ensure a high-quality user experienceWork on world-class solutions to explore data in the autonomy industryWe're looking for someone who has:3+ years of experience working on video playback systemsExperience creating performant playback experiences in JavascriptExperience working with a variety of video formatsKnowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting network performance issuesExperience working with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)Nice to have:Experience working with sensor data (ie. lidar, radar, sonar)Experience building and using video playback telemetry systemsPrior work in either autonomous vehicles or simulation productsThe salary range for this position is $65,000 USD to $400,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.Don’t meet every single requirement?
