In the role of Technical Project Manager, you will lead full project lifecycle management, including planning, designing, and implementing IT projects managing the quality, scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate is solution-oriented, consensus-building, and focused on solving business challenges while partnering with stakeholders in cross-functional teams. You will be an important and valued member of the CareDx IT team and work in a fast-paced environment providing critical technical support services for some of our most mission-critical systems, in support of IT’s visions and goals.

Responsibilities

Translate project requirements into objectives and tasks, managing task assignment, scope, and reporting throughout the lifecycle.Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.Establish and implement project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.Manage the relationship with all stakeholders to clarify specific requirements of each project.Ensure success of projects by managing and motivating the team, addressing resource contention and shifting priorities.Strong facilitation skills, effectively communicating with the project team and business to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions as required.Coordinate and drive project design, development, UAT, and production cutover.Ensure alignment and understanding of timelines, milestones, and deliverables with stakeholders.Monitor project progress against baseline and follow up as needed with individuals across the company.Create project status dashboards and communicate the status of projects to team members, management, and leadership effectively and efficiently.Confidently brief executive audiences to include reports and other information that facilitates proactive decision making.Use project management and collaboration tools to maintain project documentation and plans.All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or in a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management.Proven experience in managing complex projects up to completion.A solid understanding of project management methodologies. PMP certification preferred.Ability to manage across multiple functional groups.Interact with teams at various management levels, including leadership.Ability to capture data and feedback to come to resolution on complex issues.Demonstrated experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.Ability to influence and develop productive working relationships with resources and dependent teams.Analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, projecting consequences of proposed actions, and implementing recommendations in support of goals.
