Communicate with client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional mannerEstablish and maintain effective client relationships through regular communications, including on-site visitsAdhere to prescribed budgets and deadlinesDevelop technical aptitude and provide assistance to clientsParticipate in continuing professional education programsServe as a trusted business advisor for clients and associatesProactively identify improvement opportunities in processes to enhance efficiency. Recognize potential issues and/or opportunities in engagements and discuss with engagement headUse data analysis skills to discover useful information and patterns to provide support in recommendationsTax Specific

Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections in accordance with firm and professional standardsUnderstand and effectively use current tax and accounting software applicationsResearch tax related issues and other related financial reportsPerform a limited number of tax return interviews as neededAudit Specific

Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures in accordance with firm and professional standardsCommunicate with engagement managers regarding open items, testing problems, or other important mattersPrepare (or review client prepared) financial statements and footnotes, management reports, and other engagement outputsDevelop technical expertise with GAAP and accounting procedures, related to assigned product lineQualifications

Requires a Bachelor Degree in AccountingAbove average knowledge in accounting as demonstrated by college GPA; Preferred 3.0 GPA or higherCPA eligibility preferredRequires 6 - 18 months of job related experienceAn accounting internship experience preferredPreferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big DataProven written and verbal communication skillsExcellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, etc.Experience with accounting software is a plusHigh level of organization, focus, exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skillsPlease note these roles are for an in-person or hybrid environment.
