Blue Cross of Idaho Health Service is looking for a talented and driven Corporate Development Financial Analyst to become a valuable member of our dynamic Corporate Development Team. As part of this role, you will have the chance to support our team in identifying and implementing strategic acquisitions, equity investments, joint ventures, and other important partnerships. Through asset acquisition, company investment, and relationship building, you will be instrumental in enhancing the revenue and profitability of our organization.
As a Financial Analyst for Corporate Development, you will work closely with the entire team to conduct financial analysis and create models that aid in decision making and performance tracking. You will directly collaborate with important individuals, such as CFOs, controllers, and founders of portfolio companies. Your skill in building strong connections and promoting open communication will be crucial in producing accurate financial models and achieving successful results.

To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis, including financial modeling and investment analysis. A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field is required, or equivalent work experience. Additionally, we highly value candidates who possess a CPA and/or MBA, have prior healthcare experience, and have a background in data analysis and financial reporting.
In This Role, Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include:Performing comprehensive financial analyses for company investments and commercialization modelsApplying advanced data analysis skills to deliver strategic recommendations and actionable insightsMonitoring and tracking financials, analyzing performance, and identifying trendsAssessing and measuring the return on investments using your expertise in financial principles and investment strategiesDeveloping financial models, including pro forma combination models and discounted cash flow analysisAssessing financial information and preparing succinct presentations for senior managementSupporting the due diligence process and monitoring potential strategic investmentsDeveloping strategic rationale for acquisitions and investments aligned with our corporate strategyExercising good judgment and discretion, especially regarding sensitive or confidential mattersWorking independently and prioritizing responsibilities under the pressure of competing assignments
