About The Team & Role

The QA Engineer Role will provide leadership for the primary team through an understanding of multiple technical areas and industry standard best practices. Demonstrates ability to take technically complex features and strategically break them down into understandable, workable units for WEX teams.

A versatile QA engineer able to deliver high quality results by using team’s tools and tech stacks, with minimal supervisionHas an agile mindset, excellent communication skills, and critical thinking skillsBe able to work in an Agile environment, performing QA duties for multiple teams, working on a variety of productsCollaborates with the Product owner, development team, and other key stakeholders instrumental to the projectTeam player that uses interpersonal skills to collaborate across all levels of the organizationSolutions-orientedTranslates the test requirements into manual and/or automation testing proceduresLog detailed defects and following up until resolutionUses analytics tools for data driven testingAble to work with automation tools and frameworksContribute to automated testing repositories and perform peer code reviewsIdentifies ways to optimize the testing window and maximize the quality of the productHas a problem solving mindset and able to solve testing problems, create negative test cases, and communicate issues with the scrum teamClearly express product-level testing concerns and testing categories in CI/CD pipelinesDemonstrate expertise in building consensus across diverse business groups and leaders.Demonstrates comfort level with creating SQL union, accepts, intersecting, and joins in write comparisons.Analyze and interpret design specifications, business requirements and apply information to the functional and non-functional testing process.Should work in the Onsite-Offshore model, support the project and adhere to the nature of the project.

Experience you’ll bring

5+ years experience of QA testing and automation experienceSome experience in data science, data testing, and/or data analyticsExpert in designing, coding and maintaining test automation frameworksExpert in integrating test automation into CI/CDExpert in writing and debugging test automation code for UI/APIStrong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIsSolid knowledge with database and testing toolsExperience with Selenium and/or RobotKnowledge of Object Oriented ProgrammingKnowledge of C#, Java, PythonExperience with Microservices testing & different strategiesExperience with GitBDD knowledge (Cucumber/Spec Flow)Can demonstrate critical thinking skills through past accomplishmentsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsInterested in market trends, new technologies and innovationHave experience with AWS, test management tools

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range:

$88,000.00 - $117,000.00
