In-House Corporate Counsel (Hybrid, Permanent in San Antonio Texas area)Are you an experienced in-house corporate attorney looking to make a change from your current in-house role? We have a large company looking to add an attorney to its legal department. This in-house attorney position is a permanent role which will work closely with the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel of the company. This is a wonderful opportunity for an attorney living in the San Antonio area.Requirements for the Corporate Counsel Role:5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or as an in-house counselExperience negotiating and drafting real property agreements, including, but not limited to easements, licenses, rights-of-way, and purchase and sales agreements in support of company projects and initiativesPrior experience negotiating, drafting, and reviewing commercial agreements including nondisclosure, consulting, professional services, master service agreements, software license, and goods and services agreementsExperience supporting M&A activities and assisting with financing initiativesExperience advising on corporate secretary, risk management, and information governance functionsExperience developing contract management workflows is a plusPast work advising on regulatory and compliance matters, including but not limited to general rate case applications and consumer privacy compliance initiativesLicensed to practice law in Texas or of a state bar with reciprocity with Texas and be in good standing (or eligible for in-house exemption)Position Details of Corporate Counsel Role:Type of role : PermanentSchedule : Full-timeLocation : Hybrid / WFH - commuting distance from San Antonio areaCompensation:Pay : The salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 [when calculated on a full-time basis] depending on the candidate’s experience. This position may be eligible for bonuses.
