At Twilio, we support diversity, equity & inclusion wherever we do business.About The JobAs the Vice President of Product Management for Self-Serve and Partners, you will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of our self-serve product offerings and partnership initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will lead a team of product managers to build and enhance our self-serve platform, including the development of a new marketplace with partners. Additionally, you will be tasked with streamlining billing and payments through the creation of a commerce platform, as well as optimizing the onboarding process to improve developer experience and grow the self-serve business. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and shape the future of our company in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry landscape.In this influential position, you will lead a team of highly skilled product managers, empowering them to innovate and drive the evolution of our self-serve platform to meet the evolving needs of our customers and partners. You will provide strategic guidance and oversight throughout the product life cycle, from conceptualization and development to launch and ongoing optimization.The role is highly cross-functional and requires a leader that enjoys navigating ambiguity, working in a fast-paced environment, aligning exec partners, collaborating with teams across time-zones and thinking globally.ResponsibilitiesOwn the product vision for how developers and partners engage with Twilio products - Ensure that it aligns with the overall product and company strategy.Evangelize the vision constantly so all partners are aligned, have context and understand where we are going.Drive product lifecycle - Collaborate with engineering, user experience, documentation, infrastructure and go-to-market teams.Champion the strategy - Work with go-to-market teams, product marketing, sales, services, and enablement teams.Represent the customer - Be the champion and voice of customers.Think strategically - know what it takes to give our product and platform a competitive advantage.Analyze and synthesize broad, cross-business or cross-discipline information.Lead and collaborate across teams - A collaborative approach and demeanor is important.Mentor and develop the product management team for the next phase of growth for the business.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the product team and across the organization.Qualifications15+ years of product management experience building large scale products.10+ years people management experience.Leadership DNA - validated ability to excite and lead successful cross-functional initiatives.Track record of delivering impact with multiple product lines at all stages of maturity.Experience leading or building for consumer growth teams.Data-driven and outcomes oriented.Strong attention to detail and comfortable balancing multiple ongoing initiatives.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Executive presence and strong communication skills.Passionate about the customer journey and experience.Experience in relevant domains.Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience.LocationThis role will be based remotely within North America or within one of our North American offices.TravelApproximately 15% travel is anticipated.What We OfferThere are many benefits to working at Twilio, including competitive pay, generous time-off, ample parental and wellness leave, healthcare, a retirement savings program, and much more.
