The Underwriting Auditor will be working in the Post-Bind process majority of the time. When needed, they will complete internal underwriting audits for both New Business and Renewal accounts for our Commercial Property and Casualty division. This will eventually include WC reviews. Investigates and verifies accounts are written within our company guidelines and underwriting authority. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge and skill performing Post-Bind reviews along with internal underwriting audits for the Commercial Property & Casualty small business division under limited supervision.Performs internal audits based on our Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) standards.Performs a detailed and documented audit on new business accounts coming through the Post-Bind process, including validating account eligibility per company guidelines, appetite guide, and individual underwriting authorities.Compiles quarterly audit results annually in conjunction with audit manager for designated business groups.Performs new business Post-Bind reviews of accounts daily and ensures they are written within company guidelines and underwriting authority.Ability to compile and document results in a clear and concise manner with conclusions that are supported by the work performed.Communicates audit results collaboratively with audit manager to underwriters, underwriting managers, and product managers.Proactively engages with business managers to discuss audits and maintain relationships.Ability to keep current with the latest underwriting guidelines and authorities.Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.3 years Multi-Line UW experience in both WC and CPP rating engines/AO work.Detail-oriented with skills in advanced Excel, Sequel, and PowerPoint.Determine acceptability of risk in accordance with company guidelines and standards.Knowledge of both WC & ISO coverages and forms.Strong organizational and analytical skills.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.This job description is designed to provide a general overview of the requirements of the job and does not entail a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties, or responsibilities that will be required in this position.
