Investment Accounting Manager

The Investment Accounting Manager oversees financial reporting and accounting processes related to client investments. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $121,500 to $175,000 per year.Primary Responsibilities

Ensure all investment accounting functions are performed in compliance with regulatory and GAAP reporting requirementsSupervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals responsible for investment accounting activities, providing guidance and support as neededManage new, complex investments and transactions to ensure proper recording within accounting systemsCollaborate with other departments to align investment accounting activities with overall organizational objectivesAnalyze investment performance metrics and trends, providing insights to senior management regarding the investment portfolio’s performanceQualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting5+ years of relevant work experience in public accounting or industry with an investment accounting roleExperience working in SOC-1, SOX, or NAIC regulated environmentsAdvanced knowledge of all investment types, especially structured securities
