Enterprise Software Engineer Associate

to join our team. This full-time role will work days – open to remote work.Purpose of the Position : Under close supervision, provide support for HCMC applications throughout the systems life cycle and serve as a liaison with operational owners/customers. Actively engage in ongoing skills development.RESPONSIBILITIESParticipate in the management of complete lifecycle for small/medium supported applications including implementations, maintenance, upgrades, and retirements.Find and analyze various error logs (Windows/App/IIS/Firewall/etc.).Understand basic security best practice activities including firewall rules on servers/workstations, password and credential management, TLS, and SSL.Evaluate and modify configuration components (.ini/xml files).Learn all IS&T tools (ServiceNow, Outlook, etc.).Understand best practice around security (Servers/fileshares/IIS/Web servers/etc.).Participate in rotating overnight/weekend on-call schedule for off-hours support.Translate technical terminology and concepts to non-technical team members.Provide first-line support, troubleshooting functional/analytical/technical support tickets.Work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.Understand basic DICOM config and message parsing/evaluation.Review proprietary interface engine messages.Understand basic concepts of HL7 messages and their uses/purposes.Provide regular and/or off-hour on-call support as scheduled.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Qualifications:No years of experience.Associates of Arts (AA) or Bachelor’s degree.-OR-An approved equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualifications:Healthcare industry experience.PACS experience.Ability to understand customer requirements and their impact on technical directions of a solution.Ability to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standards.Detail-oriented and ability to manage one’s own work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Excellent analytical and organizational skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as a team member across multiple teams.Ability to independently research and perform analysis to resolve issues.Understanding and ability to evaluate and modify configuration components (.ini/xml files).Ability to translate technical terminology and concepts to non-technical team members.Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.Ability to review proprietary interface engine messages.You've made the right choice in considering Hennepin Healthcare for your employment.
