We’re actively seeking a talented Change Consultant to join our Enterprise Change Enablement team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE (hybrid work schedule).

As a Change Consultant, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by supporting our Finance and Actuarial functions through transformational and/or strategic change initiatives. Your colleagues will include other Change Consultants, Organizational Design, Organizational Development, HRBPs, Internal Communications, Enterprise Program Office, and more.

How You Will Make An Impact

Networking and Influencing

Build partnerships and collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including strong relationships with initiative sponsors.Influence the implementation of the full change management strategy and plans.Partner with Internal Communications lead to align on key messaging and change communications.Advocate for and drive change management best practices within organization.

Change Management Core Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To)

Case for Change and Sponsor AssessmentChange Readiness AssessmentStakeholder AnalysisChange Impact Analysis (including from-to behavior identification)Measurement Strategy and Plan (including defining/measuring success metrics and monitoring adoption progress post go-live)Resistance Management PlanChange Training Plan (including utilizing your assessments and analyses to propose high-level solutions per audience group)Communications Plan (in partnership with Internal Communications to develop customized change messaging that is clear, compelling, and consistent to drive awareness, excitement and advocacy for various audiences)Demonstrate a strategic vision that connects initiatives and work to continually align the changing business needs.Evaluate, measure, and manage stakeholder readiness and adoption to enable speed of adoption and achieve business ROI.Proactively engage with the initiative’s sponsors and senior leaders to coach and consult.Partner with Organizational Development Consultants and/or HRBPs to facilitate leader/manager/supervisor coaching and intervention needs.Partner with initiative program or project members to integrate change management activities into project plans.Identify and utilize networks of key influencers to promote quicker adoption.

Processes & Resources

Apply our Enterprise Change Enablement team’s structured methodology to provide strategic and tactical plans.Engage with Community of Expertise to drive standardization of artifacts, methodology adoption, consistent approach, and deliverables.

The Experience You Will Bring

Smartsheet, MS Office 365, SharePoint config capabilities, WorkdayStrong, deep experience managing the people side of change for moderate and complex enterprise initiatives using change management principles, methodologies, and tools (8+ years)Significant experience with large scale, complex organizational change efforts.Deep understanding and a solid appreciation for what affected audience groups require in order to transition from a current to future state.Excellent active listening and communication skills – both written and verbal.Proven ability to coach and influence senior leaders to be effective sponsors.Self-starter who can consistently manage up, is well organized, and can effectively execute on time.Displays a clear growth mindset that enables you to adapt and grow.

Base Pay Range

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.

$127,890.00 - $156,310.00
