Senior Java Full Stack Engineer
to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build innovative, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the “team”, drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions.Location: Charlotte, NC.**Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future**Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of scalable software solutions using Core Java and J2EE.Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services to improve application functionality.Use Hibernate for efficient database management and data retrieval.Ensure the integration of REST APIs for flawless communication between different software components.Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues.Adhere to standard processes in coding and design to enhance software performance.Participate in code reviews to maintain high quality.Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in software development.Provide technical guidance to junior team members and contribute to their growth.Work closely with the project management team to meet deadlines and deliverables.Ensure software compliance with security protocols and data protection standards.Optimize existing software applications for improved performance and scalability.Strong background in Core Java, Hibernate, J2EE, and web services, with a preference for those with experience in the Cards & Payments domain.This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software that meets our client needs.Perform Java development activities and build REST API’s that are used by several teams.Perform POC’s to prove the concepts work.Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.Recommend solutions to improve new and existing design.Supervise Code quality and consistently strive for improvement.Educate staff members through training and individual support.Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.Understand and document data flows in and between different systems/applications.Qualifications
