Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Content Manager to lead our Content Team. The Content Manager will work closely with the editing and writing teams to produce high-quality, SEO optimized content for the website along with client sites.
The Content Manager will also develop and execute on SEO strategies that grow keywords and traffic while reporting directly to the Director of Content.
As a Content Marketing Manager, your role will be to write, edit, and optimize short-form and long-form content as well as develop and execute integrated growth marketing strategies for our clients. You will be responsible for leading and planning content and SEO-related strategies and projects across the marketing funnel, including organic keyword research, SEO performance tracking, optimizing content for SEO, on-page SEO optimizations, and identifying opportunities to improve organic traffic growth for client content and websites.
The ideal candidate has a passion for marketing and is able to transform technical information into compelling, easy-to-understand concepts and content for our client’s audiences.
You will work closely with the creative, graphic design, and account success teams. You will also work directly with our clients to create and execute high-quality marketing content, experiences, and solutions.
To succeed in this position, you must have exceptional written, communication, analytical, organizational, collaboration, and client management skills as well as a deep understanding of content and growth marketing best practices, a strong copywriting background, and a passion for delivering measurable results.
Client Services Responsibilities
Provide excellent client services and support through verbal and written communication and collaborationLead client calls and presentations related to content and growth marketing projects and initiativesLead calls with client marketing teams, presenting content strategies, content, marketing performance data reports, facilitating feedback, and collaborating to align marketing processes and strategiesCollaborate with our Integrated Marketing Strategists and Project Managers as well as other members of the Growth Marketing department to build, execute, and report on demand & lead generation strategies, campaigns, projects, and tacticsResponsibilities
Lead proofreading and editing team to ensure the success of content plansConduct target audience and competitor research to inform strategies and copywritingEnsure all content maintains a consistent brand voice personality, style, and tone across channels, and adheres to accessibility and compliance regulationsDevelop and execute content calendars for blogs and web pagesImplement SEO best practices into content and strategiesMeasure the results of SEO & content marketing campaigns and activities to inform future marketing campaignsLead the editing team in creating and adhering to policy to create compelling contentBuild new systems and processes to organize and improve content procedures within integrated marketing campaignsWrite and review all marketing campaign materials, including ads, emails, and landing pages, to ensure they align with campaign objectives and strategiesUpload contentOther duties as necessaryTypes of content you may be creating/leading the creation of:Email campaignsWebsite pages and landing pagesBlog articlesDownloadable guidesPaid ad copy (Google Search & Display, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and more)Organic social media copyCase studiesDemonstrated Skills/Qualifications
