Summary

Help bring peace of mind to millions of existing and future Vivint customers as a Product Manager on Vivint’s Foundation team. In this role you will be on the forefront of solving real customer problems and anxieties related to their homes and the people they love most. You will also help to define what it means for our customers to interact with an ever-growing suite of connected devices inside and outside of their home. Work to improve current experiences and products and help build new ones.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead discovery, specification, implementation, and continuous improvement of a new customer support software product.Help drive adoption of the product across the entire organization by pitching it to different groups and integrating feedback from stakeholders in those groups.Consider input from multiple customer types (i.e., paying customers, VIP customers, call agents, technicians, installers, and other employees).Establish a strong balance between discovering new product opportunities and delivering world-class product experiences.Pursue product and industry knowledge, identify trends and opportunities, and become a subject matter expert on designated products.Monitor product performance and proactively identify opportunities for product improvements.Advocate for the customer, and the business, through research, insights, and regular contact with our customer-base.Partner with our world-class User Research team to identify problems, test solutions, and learn about our customers.Required Skills, Experience & Education

4+ years of relevant PM experience of defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products.Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in product design or engineering.Previous experience in software development.Decisive & Results-oriented.Inspire team and management to rally behind your vision.Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage priorities.Proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Ability to clearly communicate across all levels of the organization and departments in writing, orally and interpersonally.Able to communicate and defend your decisions.Show deep commitment to solving customer problems and empathy for the consumer.Ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization.Conversant in the technical aspects of building software products.Preferred Skills, Experience & Education
