We're hiring a Legal CounselAbout the positionThe Legal Counsel will assist in protecting Plexus’ legal interests and will assist Government Affairs to foster relationships on behalf of Plexus.Who will love this job?A collaborator:

you are a customer-focused individual with an ability to understand others.What you'll doYou are responsible for identifying and analyzing legal issues, drafting key documents, presenting clear recommendations, and assuring legal compliance.You provide counsel on issues to various levels of the organization.You collaborate with all internal departments to develop the best possible processes and outcomes.You draft legal documents such as contracts, statements, agreements, etc.You execute procedures for protecting patents, trademarks, and general intellectual property issues.You prepare summaries and analyses on new legislation and civil and criminal matters impacting the company's business.You support government relations strategy by identifying the key elected officials, regulators, and decision-makers to educate on issues important to the company.You work directly with elected and appointed officials and their staff members to build and foster positive relationships on behalf of the company.You foster relationships with trade organizations and create partnerships to advance industry goals.You prepare talking points, fact sheets, and other positional documents.You work with Corporate Communications in drafting public statements, press releases, and op-eds for use with media.You monitor bill drafts and committee hearings for potentially impactful legislation and provide Executives with timely updates.You should haveYou have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.You have five years of corporate/business and advertising law, FTC, and FDA experience.You have five or more years in privacy law preferred.You're a collaborator who thrives in a team environment while meeting individual goals and expectations.Ability to anticipate obstacles, communicate effectively, and plan accordingly.You provide solutions and work in cross-functional areas to facilitate the successful completion of projects.You bring high energy, remain positive in a dynamic organization, and lead high-performing teams.You manage multiple projects simultaneously, work autonomously, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines.About PlexusPlexus Worldwide is a leading direct-sales company founded in Scottsdale, Arizona, where it remains a top employer and economic driver.
