Business Analyst

Required:Job Competencies:Ability to work with users directly in workshop facilitationAbility to collaborate and be a team playerEffectively converse with and listen to all levels of users to understand their environment and the impact of system changesCommunicate with all levels of managementRecord information accurately and effectivelyProficiency in defining user requirements and designing business processesAdvanced business analysis skills: business case development, business process design, application usability and structured testingSystematize and organize large amounts of data, via strong oral and written communication skillsLearn new content areas and skills quicklyPossess a strong technical acumenManage time well and achieve objectives with minimal supervisionRepresent the Department in a positive way to the business communityPreferred:Experience in ERP full lifecycle implementations or upgrades involving General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Assets, Procurement and Grants AccountingEducation:Required:Bachelors degree in a related field.Preferred:Masters degree.Experience:Required:Experience with a minimum of three implementations of large scale tier1 ERP systems involving Budgeting, Planning, and Forecasting functionsExperience in the design and development of reporting solutions for Budgeting, Planning, and Forecasting functionsExperience with Oracle EPMExperience with EssbaseFunctional and technical experience in Budgeting and PlanningPreferred:Experience in higher education financial accountingExperience with both GAAP and fund accountingExperience with position-based budgetingExperience with encumbrance accountingKnowledge of Financials, Procurement and Grants Accounting areas of ERP systems
