Our Loews Hotels & Co Home Office remote teams provide support to all our properties throughout the United States and Canada. Our talented teams provide guidance over strategic planning, operations, revenue management, communications, marketing, finance, human resources, and information technology.This role allows for remote flexibility, provided the incumbent lives in the Midwest.Purpose:
The National Sales Manager, Midwest reports to the Vice President, Group Sales, and can be based remotely in the Midwest with the ability to travel up to 50% for assigned and qualified sales activities. The position will focus on account development and hold a production goal for the Midwest Market(s), targeting specific underpenetrated and unmanaged accounts where our hotels are not capturing fair share in sourcing opportunities in our chain scale (upper upscale and luxury). Working closely with the National Sales, Senior Business Development Manager account targets will be discovered, identified and modified as needed to ensure timely and proactive account targeting.This National Sales Manager, Midwest must be both well-versed and savvy in sales systems, including but not limited to Delphi.FDC, Cvent Business Development tools, LinkedIn, and other social selling networks. This position requires excellent communication, solicitation and consultative selling skills and will work closely with the property sales teams to grow sales pipeline volume and drive conversion. This will require alignment on sales calls, brand signature events and travel + tradeshows to achieve the desired account penetration.The position will require attendance at major geographical markets travel + tradeshows, require sales calls, the development of tactical sales plans and the proper implementation of potential key initiatives and processes to benefit the brand’s top-line, market share gains and market reputation. In addition, this position will require presentation skills to report quarterly on account performance + penetration, with short + long term goals to ensure success. All action plans + sales activity will be required to be in Delphi.FDC.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Direct management, oversight and revenue goal + share growth responsibilities of identified assigned and group accounts.Work within LSO comms framework to ensure that the hotels are kept abreast of key market + account trends, production and high-impact sales activities.Create, execute + monitor strategic planning processes through production management and quarterly reviews discussions with assigned accounts and calibrate as necessary.Solicitation savvy with both Loews Sales Tools & Systems as well as other social selling sites.Execute sales calls in market and over the phone.Provide leadership and guidance to the property sales teams and new development opening teams to identify accounts with potential for specific hotels and collaborate to develop specific strategies + action plans to ensure share growth.Collaborate with Commercial Analyst using Microsoft BI to ensure tracking and measurement of relevant analytics + reporting.Provide training and guidance to new employees or other departments on contract policies and the contract management system implemented by the company.Provide administrative assistance to Senior Legal Counsel.Development of tactical sales plans and proper implementation of potent key initiatives and processes to benefit the brand’s top-line, market share gains and market reputation.Organization and attendance to key tradeshows to gain exposure for current hotel portfolio and new projects.Drive business development clients to 2-3 in market events created by National Sales Director, Midwest and work in tandem on creation and execution of event, measured by sales initiatives.Support revenue generation for new and need hotels through influence of identified accounts.Quarterly account meetings and overview document to review account list action items, successes and next steps.Maintain account notes in Delphi.FDC.Manage individual cost center budget and forecast, as required.Other job-related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:
Must be able to perform the duties outlined within the assigned job description.Strategic thinker, skilled in leveraging information and data to organize + craft strategic plans for their respective market.Practiced and able to investigate assigned accounts through aggressive + targeted telemarketing campaigns.Ability to change with the needs of the company and assigned hotels.Knowledge of the industry, group business + contacts and marketplaces in which Loews Hotels are represented and seeking to have representation.Keen knowledge of the sales process in order to collaborate with field group sellers and execute on strategy.Ability to travel.Proficiency in Loews Sales Systems, including but not limited to:Delphi.FDCCvent Business Development toolsSocial selling tools, such as LinkedInMicrosoft BITeam player with strong communication skills both verbally and in writing with ability to be concise but effective.A proactive ‘hunter” mentality, curious with a passion for driving results.Excellent solicitation skills.Strong business acumen.Self-motivated.Ability to integrate and emulate the Loews Culture.Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Experience:
