Conducts patient rounds as necessaryAssesses daily plan of care and recommends actions in collaboration with the patient’s physicianOrders and interprets appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testingPerforms regular medication reviews for patients and modifies orders as necessaryQualifications
Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited schoolCurrent NYS license to practice as a Registered Professional NurseCurrent NYS certification as a Nurse Practitioner (either Adult/Geriatric)Maintains a current collaborative practice agreementBCLS certificationACLS certification2+ years’ experience in an acute care setting
