Leveraging our expertise across diverse industries including healthcare, food and beverage, buildings and materials, and technology, we collaborate with over 100 organizations to help achieve their goals.Position SummaryThe Account Executive, Membership, plays a vital role within the Marketing, Membership & Sales (MMS) department, focusing on client communications, member engagement, and retention. This position involves overseeing membership plan development, marketing initiatives, dues processing, website management, committee liaison, reporting, database utilization, member analysis, and cross-departmental collaboration. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.Essential FunctionsMembership Plan Development & Execution

Contribute to the development and execution of onboarding, engagement, and renewal programs, aligning with membership goals.Identify strategies to engage members following renewals, supporting member retention.

Membership Marketing & Promotion

Collaborate on the development of membership collateral and member value propositions, aligning with membership goals.Solicit quotes from key members for promotional materials to enhance member acquisition.

Membership Dues

Develop and process dues invoices, including follow-up as necessary, contributing to financial sustainability as part of membership goals.

Website Management

Work with marketing and association management teams to ensure the website showcases the value of association membership, supporting membership goals.Responsible for updating the website with membership news and announcements.

Membership Committee Management

Act as a liaison with membership committees, organizing agendas, reporting, and facilitating discussions, promoting active committee engagement as part of membership goals.Take minutes and share ideas and actions with the team, fostering collaboration.

Reporting

Ensure consistent membership reports are created, circulated, and distributed, providing insights to support membership goals.Initiate discussions on concerns and successes, contributing to a proactive membership strategy.

Database Utilization

Work with the Technology department to utilize client databases for queries, reports, and dashboards, enhancing data-driven decision-making for membership goals.Share quantitative and qualitative insights based on data to improve member experiences.

Member Analysis

Identify members at risk of churn and develop proactive action plans, directly impacting member retention goals.Recommend outreach programs and execute strategies for member engagement, contributing to acquisition goals.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

Collaborate with Education, Meetings, Accounting, and other departments to enhance membership satisfaction and growth, aligning with membership goals.

Onsite and Membership Experience

Travel as needed for onsite membership activities, such as booths promoting membership, fostering direct engagement and acquisition.

Other duties that align with the mission and vision of the company as assigned.QualificationsUndergraduate or graduate degree in business, marketing, communications, management, or English preferred.3-5 years of relevant work experience. Experience with non-profits and associations preferred.Proficient in membership or customer retention and acquisition strategies.Demonstrates strong writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.Efficiently manages multiple projects, prioritizing deliverables through effective communication and established processes.Comfortable taking direction, interfacing with other departments, and demonstrating initiative and independence in work execution.Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Smart Sheet (preferred), Google Analytics, CRMs (Word Press, Salesforce), and databases (Association Management Systems), with experience in email platforms like Constant Contact or Informz.Physical DemandsThis position operates within an office environment.
