We're seeking a strategic and people-focused Sales Manager to lead and inspire our District Sales Managers (DSMs) within this vibrant territory. Preferred location is Nebraska, Kansas or Missouri; however, for the right candidate we will realign our Sales Manager territory.Mustang Seeds is more than a company; it's a family legacy deeply rooted in agriculture. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of District Sales Managers (DSMs) to achieve and exceed sales targets.Coach and assist DSMs with needs of their territory and in fine tuning their sales skills.Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the unique characteristics of each state in the territory.Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture reflective of Mustang and GDM values.Conduct regular performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development.Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including DSMs, farmers, dealerships, and community partners.Stay abreast of market trends, regional dynamics, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years' experience in sales management within the agricultural sector.Prior experience in leading and managing a team is preferred but not required.Bachelor's degree in agriculture business, agronomy, or a similar field is preferred but not required.Inspirational leadership style with a focus on fostering collaborative and family-oriented team atmosphere.Strategic mindset with the ability to tailor sales approaches to diverse regional markets.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for building lasting relationships.Familiarity with the agricultural landscape of the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.Benefits
